Hi All. I've recently had a huge demand on companies wanting to go mobile with mail, etc. I've been playing around with mNotes (commontime) and reading up on Lotus Notes Traveler.

A tag is a keyword that is used to categorize an entry. To view the entries with a particular tag, click a tag name or enter a tag in the box.
The tag cloud indicates the frequency of tag use. Popular tags appear darkest. The slider control adjusts how many tags are displayed in the tag cloud.
1 Scott Hooks Permalink We have had some good and some bad experiences with Commontime. Having to do device resets seem to be a common issue with Commontime. We have found Good Mobile Messaging to be a lot better. Good luck!
2 Justyn Roberts Permalink Hi John.
Really, my take (No bias here as a CommonTime employee;)
If you only need to mobilize a handful of users, traveler is a
great product. Its quite obvious that it was developed as a counter
tick-in-box against MSexchange direct push, but scaling it into
your organisation lets it down somewhat, by not having features
such as security policy enforcement, or device management which
helps you quickly provision manage and maintain.
Also as you have highlighted you might want to consider using your
device for more than email, quite rightly.
mForms is a component of the mSuite offering enabling rapid
application development within the Domino Designer, with integration
into device features including Camera,GPS, etc.
Scott: Sorry you had a less than perfect experience with our
software - time passes and we learn from our mistakes - mSuite5
(for corporate deployments) is being released very shortly, and we
are all pretty fired up as to stability and functionality of the
software within the sometimes changing goalposts and constraints of
Windows Mobile and Symbian series 60 platforms.
If you do need any further help, technical or otherwise, feel free
to drop me a mail, Justyn-AT-commontime-DOT-com - If anyone else
would like a trial of either mNotes5 (for wireless and desktop) or
mSuite (for corporate deployments) please let me know and I will
make sure it happens..
First Post on here :) No Spam intended.
