Mac Mini + Garage Band + guitar = 0 free time

Michael J Butcher |   | Tags:  mac mini | Comments (2)  |  Visits (218)
I finally got a Mac Mini a few days ago. The intent is to learn to develop iPhone / iPod Touch applications. I discovered that my new computer comes with iLife 09, which contains  Garage Band. This seems like a very cool program. Now I just need to buy a 1/4 to 1/8 cord to plug one of my Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocasters into my Mac Mini!

Cool - another Guitarist here!! :) Chad Scott is too.

A Yngwie guitar? Nice - I like that style but can't shred at all lol.

Make it three folks. Converted drummer playing rhthym acoustic and writing original material. I can't play lead to save my own life ... ;-P

A fellow musician has recommended Sonar's CAKEWALK product for recording his original stuff. Likes the "... way more features available than those in other things like Garage Band." Has anyone used that tool? Agree with the assessment?

Stay strummin', my friends
