Hello world!

Lou Capozzoli |   | Tags:  ajax domino css jquery | Comments (0)  |  Visits (227)
This is my first foray into the blogosphere. I am not sure this is something that I have the desire or time to do, or even if anyone will find it interesting. I've decided to give it a try anyway; we'll see how it goes.

You might be wondering who I am. I am a Notes/Domino developer but I specialize in front-end development using many of the latest technologies. I produce table-less layouts that are generally pixel-perfect and work across the major browsers (PC: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google, Safari and Mac: Firefox, Safari). I have experience in jQuery, AJAX, CSS, XML, XSL, XSLT, XHTML, Javascript, LotusScript, @Formula and some Java exposure.

My latest task is to make a workflow process to define steps in a process where each step and the overall workflow are stored as different documents in the database. You setup your workflow by filling ina few fields and then you use a jQuery draggable element to pull review teams over to the steps. The number of steps is completely flexible and the number of teams at each step is also flexible. I am then posting each step back to the server via AJAX to create the individual documents. This is proving to be extremely difficult given the time constraints and also immensely fun. I'll try to post more on this later.

Thats all for my first post. Its time for bed. Ciao!
