1 Devin Olson Permalink One of the things I miss most from "back home" is Chipotle.
They (and Jack in the Box) are sadly absent from Grand Rapids,
MI.
Mexican food up here is a whole different world. It is uber bland
and actually kind of gross.
They serve something called a "wet burrito", which is a warm
soft-flour tortilla wrapped around with ground beef or grilled
chicken, lettuce, tomatoes. The ends are closed (as with a normal
burrito), and the whole thing is covered with an orangish-yellow
"sauce" - similar to the "encharito" sauce served at Taco
Bell.
Yecchhh.
2 Karl-Henry Martinsson Permalink Where is "back home"?
Another good chain is Freebirds . An ex-girlfriend
introduced me to them. They seem to have locations only in Texas
(and Norman, OK).
Jack in the Box I can live without, but I am not a big burger
person anyway.
