A tag is a keyword that is used to categorize an entry. To view the entries with a particular tag, click a tag name or enter a tag in the box.
The tag cloud indicates the frequency of tag use. Popular tags appear darkest. The slider control adjusts how many tags are displayed in the tag cloud.
1 Kevin Pettitt Permalink I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to give folks the ability to reply so long as those replies don't get lost.
The
Domino Team Mailbox template on OpenNTF has very good features
for controlling auto-reply behavior, such as allowing for a delay
in responding of n hours to allow for the possibility of a manual
reply first. It also has a very good "notification" agent that will
send an alert to internal folks when a given mailbox receives mail,
which may be what you need to feel confident that user "replies to
your reply" don't get lost.
2 Karl-Henry Martinsson Permalink Generally I don't like auto responders.
If there is any chance that you get spam sent to the address, and
since 99.6% of all spam has a falsified from-address, the response
you send out will go to an innocent party.
Backscatter
is generally frowned upon, there are even blacklists (e.g. backscatterer.org ) that
list sources of backscatter.
Here you have some
thoughts on auto-responders in particular, and how to avoid
backscatter from them.
Here is a more generic article about backscatter, including
comments on auto-responders.
